In the summer of 2004 the band released their debut EP
Songs for the Devil
immediately catching the attention of the Scottish media and inspiring one XFM radio presenter
to proclaim Solarise as “One of the most exciting & innovative bands of the moment!”.

The band were thrilled, and with its release in Europe creating further excitement,
Songs
for the Devil went on to feature on Belgian national radio, resulting in Solarise receiving
an invitation to perform at the annual Festival De Wavre.

Solarise have earned themselves the reputation as one of the most interesting acts in Scotland.
Their live shows are combined with stunning visual images and have impressed audiences at a
variety of cultural events including Glasgow's City Of Love, the T In The Park showcase in
Edinburgh, and the prestigious Glasgow West End Festival.

The band spent the summer of 2005 recording their much-anticipated debut album
Still The
Same Dream, and after successfully touring in Holland & Belgium, producer
Rudy Coclet
(Arno, dEUS, ...) approached Solarise having heard some preview tracks, and together they
completed the final stages of the album production.

Jo Whiley so much; she included
the band in a weeklong
"Best of new British" feature on her show.
in April 2007 the debut album
still The Same Dream was released on dutch label
"Alien do God" and Solarise will be
undertaking more live engagements, and press & radio interviews in the benelux from October 2007, in order to promote their well
acclaimed debut album. To do so, Solarise have been joined by 2 new band members: the bass player Lionel Walrant and the guitar
player Eric Dory.
